FlipMomentum ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, and profile picture
• Payment information: processed by Stripe (we do not store card details)
• Usage data: watch history, favorites, and preferences
• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, and access times

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain our services
• Process transactions and deliver coins
• Personalize your experience and recommend content
• Communicate with you about updates and support

Cookies, consent, and local storage

We apply a conservative global opt-in model. Strictly necessary storage supports login, security, checkout, fraud prevention, consent records, language, and reader continuity. Optional categories stay off unless you accept them.

• Functional reader storage: language, theme, reading position, and reader settings that support the service you request.
• Enhanced preferences: optional PWA offline cache and device preferences beyond core reader continuity.
• Analytics: currently not loaded before consent. If enabled later, it will stay off until you consent.
• Marketing: affiliate attribution, campaign measurement, and advertising pixels stay off until consent and are disabled by opt-out signals.
• You can reject non-essential cookies as easily as accepting them and can change your choice at any time.

Processors and third parties

Current production services include Supabase for authentication/database, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare/R2 or media infrastructure for assets, and email/security providers where needed.

We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar marketing scripts unless they are added behind the consent system.

4c. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

• Account data: retained until account deletion + 90 days
• Watch history: retained for 2 years from last activity
• Transaction records: retained for 7 years for legal compliance
• Marketing data: retained until you withdraw consent

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with: Stripe (payment processing), analytics providers, and law enforcement when legally required.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Right to access — request a copy of your personal data
